15×20, Acrylic on Canvas Board, 2019. $600.00. Buy
This one is a like a giant piece of me. It is a signature piece. I did in in the Spring of 2019. I was into Geometric Art at the time and kept experimenting with it. I started off with a few geometric shapes and you can see the pencil traced outlines on the canvas. I left them on there intentionally. I filled in a few spots and than did not like it. I had an epiphany while painting, that I did not fit into the boxes in life people wanted me to. I could never do things or stay in places that other people do in strict rules and regulations. I always thought for myself. It had been subdued during this time period and I was coming out of it.
So I took a rag and started to swipe the areas of the shapes I made and this was the result. I wanted as much color as I could get because color represents life. I used a metal scraper to add effects here and there, some edges to it. It remains to this day, a painting perfect for those who feel like a triangle trying to squeeze into a circle, so to speak.
