This painting was done in the Summer of 2019. Black feels like the strongest color to me and has great power. I used a metal scraper entirely, no brush. I went across and to the side painting whatever shapes come out of me all the way down the canvas. This painting appears simple at first glance, and is anything but simple. Striking and real, raw.
